Seems after every mass shooting you hear a number of similar responses. There is “offering prayers”, “This is unacceptable”, “We need better gun control laws”. Then there are all the theories on social media. “It’s those liberal leftists” or “it’s those radical conservatives.” The one thing we don’t hear is people talking about their own propensity for violence. That is sadly ironic because the one thing we can do about this is to learn to live our lives less violently today than we did yesterday.
