The philosophy or guiding principle of this website is that if we are to create a lasting culture of peace and justice it has to come from the bottom up. It is up to each of us individually, and all of us together, to do what we can to create such a culture.
Each of us is a Daily Peacemaker with our special gifts, strengths and wisdom enabling us to work with others to create a culture of peace.
It is also our belief that such a culture must rest on the foundation of nonviolence. There is an old saying that the road to peace and justice runs through nonviolence.
